Identification & Preliminary Study of Hydropower Projects for Survey Licensing

Scope of work of the project includes:
• Collection of documents, information, data maps ,aerial photo etc from the relevant offices.
• Desk study and identification of potential hydropower sites.
• Confirmation of sites from the DOED whether license have been issued already or not.
• Assessment of power potential and energy generation characteristics of the site.
• Conducting field verification and confirming head and design discharge at the site.
• Conducting geo-technical investigation of project sites.
• Hydrological study of river to get hydrological parameters.
TMS is providing consulting services to carry out the preliminary study to identify potential small and medium scale feasible hydropower sites in Gandaki and Karnali river basins. And obtain survey license from the DOED for further detail studies to develop the project commercially. |
