This
study will have two key components: firstly,
to analyze the current load profile of NEA by
customer class and to disaggregate this by priority
sector, supplemented with selected detailed
end-user load profiling and analysis by major
end-use category and to train NEA in maintaining
and updating these profiles. The second component
of the study is to engage with counterparts
and stakeholders to prioritize potential interventions
and to design selected DSM programs which shall
be incorporated into a DSM Action Plan that
can be undertaken in the near term in line with
the objectives of NEA/GON. This second component
will also focus on policy recommendations, both
near term and medium term which could be adopted
to further improve efficiency of electricity
consumption.
